I recently visited a number of sites in my historical fiction novel Slovakland on a whirlwind European trip. It was great to see that progress is being made on restoration of the Lednica Castle. I'm in awe that my ancestors help build the original castle in the 1200's to help protect Slovakia from the Mongols! And they also helped build the beautiful Manor House in Lednicke Rovne.
